Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)
What If You Didn’t Have To Relive It To Process it?
You don't always need to tell the entire story for therapy to be meaningful.
Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) is a trauma-focused approach that can help people work through distressing memories, emotions, and experiences while remaining grounded in the present.
Rather than spending session after session describing every detail of what happened, ART uses structured techniques to help you change the way distressing memories are stored and experienced.
For some people, that can feel very different from traditional talk therapy.
ART may be especially appealing if you've been thinking:
"I know what happened. I just don't want to keep talking about it."
Therapy should meet you where you are—not require you to become someone you're not before you can begin healing.
