Christian Counseling
Led by Lexi Eller, LCSW-S — serving Waxahachie, Ellis County, and clients across Texas via telehealth
For clients who choose the Christian counseling option, that commitment extends to meeting you where your faith is — whether that's a lifelong foundation, a complicated relationship, or somewhere in between. Feel free to speak to Lexi about this if you have any questions.

Our approach integrates the best of two worlds: proven, evidence-based trauma therapy and biblically grounded care — both delivered in the same judgment-free space where Lexi has built her practice.
Evidence-based foundations: EMDR, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Polyvagal Theory, and Motivational Interviewing remain the core of clinical work.
Faith integration on your terms: For clients who request it, sessions can include processing grief or trauma through a faith lens, prayer, Scripture and exploring how God's presence and grace factor into your story; without pressure or agenda.
Your pace, your boundaries: You can bring faith in fully, partially, or not at all. If at any point you want to shift the focus, we shift. Period.
"He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." — Psalm 147:3

No. You don't need to hold any specific faith, attend church, or be "spiritual enough" to request faith-integrated sessions. This option is simply available to anyone who wants their beliefs included in the work.
-
Never. Christian counseling is invited, not imposed. If you want it, it's here. If you don't, we focus purely on clinical, evidence-based care.
-
Absolutely. You can start fully clinical and later bring faith in or vice versa; at any point. Your preferences guide every session.
-
No. This is clinical mental health therapy provided by a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with specialized training in Supervision (LCSW-S) and trauma modalities like EMDR and ART.
Faith integration is layered onto that clinical foundation, not in place of it.
Your faith is welcome here — not required, not pushed, just available. Healing is hard enough without leaving part of yourself behind.
Trauma work is hard enough without checking part of yourself at the door; layered onto evidence-based modalities like EMDR, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), DBT, and IFS. If your faith matters to you, it can be part of how we heal — fully, openly, and without it being forced on you. And if it's not part of what you want right now? That's completely fine too. Christian counseling here is an open option, never a requirement. You bring what you bring, and we work with that.
